The ALERTS study is designed to test the AngelMed Guardian System to see how effectively it reduces the time to treatment and, as a result, decreases damage to heart muscle and improves survival rates. Participants in the study have had a heart attack or a re-vascularization (stent, angioplasty or bypass surgery) within the past six months.
To find out more about the ALERTS clinical study, please visit the Clinical Trials website of the US National Institutes of Health. Also, check the Patient Stories section to learn about some of the people who are participating in the ALERTS clinical study.
